A ministry review is a time for reflecting together on current realities as well as look at energy and opportunities for mission and ministry. It is a chance to be the church together and mutually discern next steps. This is a "deep dive" tool for congregations or ministries who are interested in conversation partners to explore their next chapter, or to help support or kick-off strategic planning.
Ministry Review Strategies:
- The Ministry Review is grounded in mutual discernment between the synod and congregational team
- The ministry review also encourages and relies on significant congregational participation in the process
- At the end of the weekend, the congregation will have greater clarity around current realities and opportunities, recommendations and at least 1-2 actionable steps.
- The Synod Team offers support and resources at the end of the review and follow-ups at the 1-, 3-, and 6-month marks.
