Bible Study: Refugees & Migrants
Thu, Mar 25th 7pm - 8pm
WEBINAR ONLY ONLINE ONLINE, ONLINE ONLINE

“When did we see you a stranger and welcome you?” Matthew 25:38 In 2019, nearly 80 million people worldwide had been forcibly removed from their homes. That same year the total number of migrants globally was 272 million. The movement of vast numbers of people has social, political, economic, and moral implications. People of faith may find themselves wondering, “What is a faithful response to these messy and complex issues?” If you want to explore the answer to that question you are invited to participate in a three week Bible study to explore how Scripture can help us respond faithfully to migrants and refugees. Over the course of the study we will explore the Biblical themes of “hospitality” and “neighbor”. We will then begin to ask what does making change in the world look like? Dates: March 11th, 18th, & 25th. 7pm via Zoom. Hosted by the Action and Advocacy Team’s Immigration Focus Group.
