The Conference of Bishops has been working on a statement regarding immigration. Late last night, we completed our statement. I am proud to be part of a conference which is willing to speak in such a way. I invite you to take time to read the statement and pray for those who find themselves deeply impacted by changes in public policy regarding immigration.
Congregational health involves having a clear sense of purpose grounded in God’s mission, openness to ongoing change needed to live into that purpose, and empowerment of congregational leaders. A ministry review is a time for reflecting together on how ministry is going and what level of health is present for the congregation to carry mission forward and discern what’s next.
Communities, churches and individual lives are being changed because of you and your partnership with the other congregations of this great synod. [...]
